I found this teacup and saucer in an antique shop and was pleased to discover that it was made about 100 years ago in my home town of Stoke on Trent, England.
About Jan Bickerton
When I met my husband more than 20 years ago he was an architectural photographer and he taught me to see how the camera sees. He also photographed plants and his close up flowers showing all the bright colour and detail just blew me away. It took me some time before I was happy with my own images but now macro photography is something I especially love to do. My photographic journey has led me to try many styles and techniques but underlying every photo is my love of colour. Mostly toning shades but also strong contrasts.
